As we are coming to the end of January it seems a good time to check in with you all to see how you are getting on?
Everyone comes out of Christmas and New Year full of enthusiasm to eat better, train more and make a positive change. But as the weeks go by it’s easy to let this enthusiasm drop as everyday life starts to get in the way.
I want to try to catch you all before this happens and keep you all on track!
The way we’re going to do this is to just think about what we can do. Not worrying about what’s best or perfect.
All you need to do everyday is something that will have a positive impact on your health and fitness. That small investment in yourself will do wonders for your body and mind.
I’m a big believer that all you need to do to improve is to do one small thing better everyday. Those one small things will add up to enormous progress over time.
A couple of weeks back I told you all about The Chain Method and how it can help keep you on track. I’ve had brilliant feedback from people who have been using it since and feel absolutely brilliant because of it.
It’s not too late to start your own chain. You just need to commit to doing one positive thing everyday for your health and fitness. For every day that you do, you put a big red cross on your calendar. And the idea is to build your chain of crosses.
Remember though it doesn’t matter what it is. It just needs to be something positive for you. Whether that’s a healthy lunch, a short workout or a walk. It all adds up!
What I love about this is it’s as much about your mind as it is your body. The two go hand in hand.
Building your chain will help you to feel so much better about yourself mentally and the physical changes will follow.
